Hello, my friend!
I hope you’re doing well in mind, body, and spirit!
Summer feels like it’s officially arrived here in south Texas with temperatures already reaching the upper nineties. That means it’s splash pad, pool, beach, and lots-of-electrolytes season! My husband and I love trying out various health supplements and both agree that this brand of electrolytes is, as the name not so subtly suggests, superior. I highly recommend it, especially for sweaty, summer days! My son and I will be having a scoop post-tennis today. We love the raspberry and watermelon flavors.
In reading news, I just finished this amazing collection of diary entries and letters, written by courageous siblings, Hans and Sophie Scholl. If you haven’t heard of the Scholls (I hadn’t until just a few months ago), it’s worth doing a bit of research; they are incredibly inspiring. Without a doubt, this book is going to stay with me for the rest of my life. It will be one I revisit again and again, as it sings with wisdom, truth, beauty, poetry, and a kind of soul-stirring bravery seldom seen today. I’ve already added it to my kids’ reading lists when they reach high school.
Okay, time to dive into this week’s Top 4! I hope you enjoy!

In this week’s episode of The Way to Grow Mom Show, I discuss one of my major pet peeves, and that’s the question, “Are you going to have more kids?” Listen HERE!
